Weather: Drizzling
I think the officers in the Navy acknowledges the fact that friday is the day for fun and relaxation. Although he still had tough physical training and IPPT done halfway (due to sudden downpour), he had more free time than he usually had.
Kelvin and I exchanged more than 20messages over dinner time (when he was doing area cleaning) and we talked on the phone for 25mins (1030pm till 1055pm). Tonight, lights out was at 11pm.
It has been so long since I had a great chat with him. Usually when he calls, I have to try to fit in as many questions as possible in the chat "Have you showered? Washed your clothes? Did big business? How was training today? What did you do? Was it bearable? Blah Blah Blah Blah.." Tonight, we simply CHAT.
Kelvin shared with me his reflections for the week and he was smiling and laughing while talking.. Ohh, &he mentioned that he hurt himself and now have a big and deep wound on the left side of his ribs because he hit against some metal piece (I am not sure what, he didnt make himself very clear) and I guess it really hurts because he wants to visit the Medical Officer tomorrow, he is also having a sore throat and slight cough.
Kelvin also mentioned that he shared the shower cubicle with 2other guys from his bunk because every recruit wants to get washed up in the quickest time so they have time to pack up and talk to their sweethearts before lights out. Thus, they often share shower cubicles, although thinking about it is a little sick but Im glad Kelvin has learnt to adapt and live the military life :)
One piece of good news. HE HAS FINALLY DONE HIS BIG BUSINESS TODAY! :D After 5days of constipation. Great relief to hear because he is the kind of guy who has to do "IT" everyday.
Although it isnt easy for both him and me at the start, we're both now learning and has made great improvements! Give us a pat on the back :D
