龙昌的奋斗日记,第四天

天气:晴

"He gives power to those who are tired and worn out; he offers strength to the weak." Isaiah 40:29

Today, I didnt let my emotions eat me up in bits and pieces. Instead, I choose to stay joyful because I knew Kelvin needed me to be. He did not text me through the day but finally did over dinner time which he briefly mentioned about his training today and that he was doing area cleaning.

In one of the text he said "Hmm.. I'm gonna cry already. I miss you so badly. Miss all of the people and life outside :(" and I could really feel how desperate and worn out he was that tears start to well up in my eyes again...

Kelvin was basically occupied with physical training and foot drills today, he is so physically challenged that he cant be bothered to even think about doing "big business". Pardon me but he is a guy who HAS to do "IT" everyday. Tomorrow he will be going through his swimming training and IPPT. I could sense his fear when he mentioned IPPT. Poor Kelvin shouldnt be able to pass this one, but subsequent IPPTs Im sure he would.

We all know that it is not easy to sustain both physically and emotionally for a fresh "fat" recruit like him (okay we're both fat due to uncontrollable demand for supper), and at times, I really do not know what to say to encourage him through the little time we have to talk to each other. All I can do is to tell him how much I love him, how much his family loves him and how much the people around him loves him. I cant do anything more than that.. Am I doing a bad job? :(

Ohhh, when i told him about what his little niece was doing along the way to liang court for dinner (I joined his family for dinner, love spending time with them), he finally laughed. Lights out was at 10.45pm tonight, we talked for less than 3mins and Im glad Kelvin would have more time to rest tonight because he needs it. Please continue praying for Kelvin and we'll see him on 2nd Oct :)

GOGO RECRUIT :D

  2. He laughed. That moment of joy is theraputic for him I'm sure. He's in good hands. Believe and receive:) In man it's impossible but in God ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE. He'll pass!
