龙昌的奋斗日记,第七天

Weather: Very Humid :(

Today is the seventh day and I am slowly starting to get used to life without Kelvin's 24/7 company :) Its not that I dont miss him anymore, but I need to give him more space to develop his career and dream. Im not crying anymore, not even priviledged under-blanket crying sessions or "toilet breaks". Im strong and mighty because God gives me strength.

Kelvin has grown to adapt to the military life and he did not complain at all or grumble a single thing during our 30min talk today. Besides that physically, he is starting to feel worn out. On the first few days after enlistment, he takes like half a second to climb from the lower deck bed to the upper deck bed (he sleeps on the upper deck), but today, he took almost 5seconds to climb onto the upper deck because of his muscle aches. It is inevitable that training is tough but imagine the toned muscles when he books out.. Uhhhh, HOT :P (waves goodbye to bubbly fats)

While he is dramatically losing weight due to vigirous trainings, I am steadily losing weight too :)
Determined to lose weight, I run 3km a day (rain or shine), eat all low fat products and many veggies and special K cereal (but still has constipation) and I lost 2kg in mere 6days. Fast or slow I dont know..

Kelvin has developed rashes all over his hands and he is starting to itch all over, hopefully prickly heat does help him a little (thankfully we made him buy a bottle and bring it in). He has never had the problem of developing rashes or sensitive skin :( This is worrying.

I am very thankful that Kelvin has adequate time to talk to me daily.. Usually from 6pm to 730pm, Kelvin does area cleaning and bunk cleaning, during this time, he gets to SMS me while cleaning up :) and around 10pm to 11pm, he would call me and we often have about 30mins to talk. Why? Because Kelvin has the "kiasu-ism" in him. He skips night snack and while the rest of the bunk mates are eating, he will go up to the shower room with his "share-shower-cubicle-buddies" and shower in the fastest time possible :D and when everyone is done eating, he would already be lying comfortably on his bed, done with washing, showering, brushing, shaving.. awesome right? Im grateful that at least he still bothers to call me daily after training that is so tiring and he often makes the effort to talk to me for as long as possible..

Daddy God, I really thank You for bringing Kelvin and me together and for blessing this relationship. You make all things happen for a reason and You will give us the power and strength to pull through. I love you :)
